I’m Beth Fantaskey, author of Jessica’s Guide to Dating on the Dark Side and the new Jekel Loves Hyde.
2. Are there any special events, panels or galleys you are looking forward to?
I’m doing an event called “Speed Dating,” where I’ll get a chance to discuss my books with a bunch of people in very quick bursts. Beyond that, I’m always excited to meet readers and sign books.
3. Will this be your first time attending BEA or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
This is my first time, so I would love to get some advice from others…
4. Will you be doing an autograph signing at the expo? Any other fun stuff on your agenda?
I will be signing books at BEA, but don’t have my schedule yet. Beyond that, I’m just excited to go experience the whole thing, because I’ve heard it’s an amazing amalgamation of books and readers and writers.
5. What other projects are you working on that you would like to tell us about?
Right now I’m working on a possible sequel to Jessica’s Guide to Dating on the Dark Side, so I should really be at my computer 24/7, not having fun in New York!
Synopsis (Product Description):
Jill Jekel has always obeyed her parents’ rules – especially the one about never opening the mysterious, old box in her father’s office. But when her dad is murdered, and her college savings disappear, she’s tempted to peek inside, as the contents might be key to a lucrative chemistry scholarship.
To better her odds, Jill enlists the help of gorgeous, brooding Tristen Hyde, who has his own dark secrets locked away. As the team of Jekel and Hyde, they recreate experiments based on the classic novel, hoping not only to win a prize, but to save Tristen’s sanity. Maybe his life. But Jill’s accidental taste of a formula unleashes her darkest nature and compels her to risk everything – even Tristen’s love – just for the thrill of being… bad.
