Look Who’s Going to BEA: Ivy Devlin

1. Can you introduce yourself to my readers?

Hey, everyone! I’m Ivy Devlin, and my first book, Low Red Moon, will be out on September 14th!

Low Red Moon is about Avery Hood, who is reeling from the loss of her parents–and the fact that she can’t remember what happened to them even though she was there.

She’s struggling to adjust to life without them, and to living with her grandmother, when she meets Ben, who isn’t like any guy she’s ever met before.

It turns out there’s a reason why, and Ben’s secret may hold the key to Avery finding out what happened to her parents…

But what if that secret changes everything she knows about–and feels for–Ben?

2. Are there any special events, panels or galleys you are looking forward to?

I’m super excited to say that I’m going to be on a panel! I’ll be talking with Holly Black, Richelle Mead, and Andrea Cremer about paranormal YA on Wednesday, May 26th at 11 AM on the Downtown stage (which is in Hall 3E, where all the autographing tables are)

3. Will this be your first time attending BEA or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?

It’ll be my first time going to BEA! But I hear you need to have a big bag for galleys, and to wear comfy shoes because Javits is huge.

4. Will you be doing an autograph signing at the expo? Any other fun stuff on your agenda?

I will be signing–come by booth 4041 on Thursday, May 27th at 11 AM to get your autographed ARC of Low Red Moon!

5. What other projects are you working on that you would like to tell us about?

I’ve got a few things I’m thinking about… :-)
