Synopsis (Product Description):

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Nightwalkers and Shadowdwellers series, Seduce Me in Dreams begins a sexy new futuristic series featuring an elite group of military heroes.

When Bronse Chapel, the commander of a specialized unit of the Interplanetary Militia, begins to dream about a beautiful and exotic brunette, he wants to dismiss it as being induced by lack of sleep…or perhaps lack of sex. But his instincts tell him it’s something different, something far more dangerous.

Ravenna is the leader of the Chosen Ones, a small group of people from her village born with extraordinary powers. She doesn’t know that draws her to Bronse’s dreams night after night, but she senses that he and his team are in jeopardy. Here is the cover art for After Midnight by Lynn Viehl, which is the first book in her new Youngbloods young adult series from Flux.  The book is scheduled to be released on May 8, 2011.  I really like this cover design and the fonts.  The green hue is also a very nice touch.

Synopsis (Product Description):

Sixteen-year-old Catlyn Youngblood isn’t happy about moving to Lost Lake, Florida. While she’s used to living a gypsy’s life with her brothers, there is something very odd about this small backwoods town. But Trick, her oldest brother and guardian, wants to settle down on their new farm and breed horses, and this time Cat may even have a chance to make some friends.

After a disastrous first day at school, Cat meets Jesse Raven, a boy who like her rides his horse after midnight. At first Jesse seems as unreceptive as the rest of Lost Lake, until Cat discovers he’s just as lonely and friendless as she is. Troubling warnings to avoid the wealthy, reclusive Ravens worry Cat, as do more problems at school, but not enough to stop meeting Jesse.

Lost Lake is a town of many secrets, however, and when a terrifying attack exposes Cat and Jesse’s friendship, their families go to extremes to separate them. Now Cat must unravel the tangled pasts of the Ravens and the Youngbloods so she can understand the strange connection that brought her and Jesse together — and why someone is deliberately trying to tear them apart.

Here is the cover art for The Vampire Voss by Coleen Gleason, which is the first book in her new Regency Draculia series. The book is scheduled to be released on March 22, 2011.  This sounds like my type of historical vampire series.  WOW!  This is a positively creepy cover.  I love it.

But the Woodmore sisters are hunted by a more sinister breed: Lucifer’s own.

Here is the cover art for Dark Awakening by Kendra Leigh Castle, which is the first book in her Dark Dynasties paranormal romance series. The book is scheduled to be released on June 28, 2011.  I love the gritty, washed out feel of this cover.  The synopsis also sounds pretty interesting.

Synopsis (Product Description):

Enter the world of the Dark Dynasties . . .

For centuries, shapeshifting vampire Tynan MacGillivray has prowled the night as an outcast, valued only for his ferocious hunting skills. When a feud among the immortals escalates into all-out war, he is ordered by his ruthless queen to locate a Seer-a human woman with a special gift-who can secure victory for their clan. Ty’s search leads him to a quiet New England town, but once he has the Seer in his grasp, her touch awakens within him a hunger like he’s never known . . .

Here is the cover art for Blood Sin by Marie Treanor, which is the second book in her Awakened by Blood paranormal romance series.  The book is scheduled to be released on April 5, 2011.  This new cover is really beautiful.  The backdrop and the skull are a very nice touch.

Synopsis (Product Description):

Months after her dangerous encounter with the vampire overlord Saloman, Scottish academic Elizabeth Silk is still trying to cope with both the demands of her vampire-hunting bloodline-and the desire she feels for Saloman, the immortal she brought back from the grave. Here is the cover art for Deadworld by J. N. Duncan, which is his debut urban fantasy novel.  The book is scheduled to be released on April 1, 2011.  This is another great urban fantasy cover.  Jackie also has a great pair of kick-ass boots.

Synopsis (Product Description):

Jackie Rutledge is a Chicago FBI agent who walks that fine line between competence and nervous breakdown. When a killer begins bleeding people dry, Jackie’s psychic partner Laurel, tells her to get off the case. The spirit world is involved and they aren’t playing nice. Worse, the prime suspect, one PI Nick Anderson, seems to exude death worse than the local cemetery. Jackie is not a “leave well enough alone” sort of woman however. She hasn’t let a bad guy get away since she was twelve, and this one will be no different. Unless of course, he’s not the killer. Despite the evidence, Jackie does not get the “killer” vibe from Nick. He’s not at all what he appears. His past goes back far beyond the humanly possible. In fact, nothing about the case makes sense, and the more they dig, the more it seems Laurel was right. They’re dealing with a killer who effortlessly walks between the living and the dead, and she will need Nick’s help to take that step, because facing the dead is where Jackie’s competence ends and the breakdown begins.

Here is the cover art for Changeling Moon by Dani Harper, which is the first book in her new shapeshifter series.  The book is scheduled to be released on May 31, 2011.  The art department did an excellent job with this cover.  The font is great and the necklace and red lips really make the cover pop.  I like this one a lot.

Synopsis (Product Description):

He roams the moonlit wilderness, his every sense and instinct on high alert. Changeling wolf Connor Macleod and his Pack have never feared anything — until the night human Zoey Tyler barely escapes a rogue werewolf’s vicious attack.

As the full moon approaches, Zoey has no idea of the changes that are coming, and only Connor can show her what she is, and help her master the wildness inside. With her initiation into the Pack just days away and a terrifying predator on the loose, the tentative bonds of trust and tenderness are their only weapons against a force red in tooth, claw … and ultimate evil.

Here is the cover art for Something Deadly This Way Comes by Kim Harrison, which is the third book in her Madison Avery young adult series.  The book is scheduled to be released on April 8, 2011.  The art department changed the look of this new cover.  I like the covers for this series, but I think the old font is better.

Synopsis (Product Description):

Madison Avery’s dreams of ever fitting in at her new school died when she did. Especially since she was able to maintain the illusion of a body, deal with a pesky guardian angel, and oh yeah, bring the reaper who killed her to his untimely end. Not exactly in-crowd material. It’s amazing that her crush, Josh, doesn’t think she’s totally nuts.

Now Madison has learned that she’s the dark timekeeper, in charge of angels who follow the murky guidelines of fate. Never one to abide by the rules, she decides it’s time for a major change to the system. With the help of some unlikely allies, Madison forms a rogue group of reapers who definitely don’t adhere to the rules of the heavens.

But as she grapples with the terrifying new skills that come with being a timekeeper, Madison realizes she may not be prepared for what lies ahead—unless she gets some seriously divine intervention.

Here is the cover art for Let it Bleed by Jeri Smith-Ready, which is the fourth book in her WVMP Radio urban fantasy Series.  The book is scheduled to be released on August 1, 2011.  This cover art is another great addition to the series, but my personal favorite is still Bad to the Bone.  I’ve heard really good things about this series as well.

Synopsis (Product Description):

The fourth book in Jeri Smith-Ready’s sassy, sexy, “charming, fang-in-cheek” (Publishers Weekly, starred review) WVMP urban fantasy series.

Former con artist Ciara Griffin hopes to settle into a normal un-life as a fledgling vampire, with the help of her fiancé, grunge DJ/guitarist Shane McAllister. But when the WVMP crew reports that hippie vampire DJ Jim has murdered a pair of humans—humans who happen to share Ciara’s last name—that’s when trouble rolls out the red carpet. To redeem her past and pay back her most wounded victim, Ciara plans one final triple-crossing con game—with her own “miracle blood” as the bait. And as Ciara clings to what’s left of her humanity, she’ll need her new vampire strength—and old con artist cunning—now more than ever.

Here is the cover art for Night Falls on the Wicked by Sharie Kohler (aka Sophie Jordan), which is the fifth novel in her Moon Chasers paranormal romance series.  The book is scheduled to be released on August 30, 2011.  No official blurb yet for the book.  I really like this most recent cover the best.  The animal tattoo on her arm is pretty cool.

Here is the cover art for Blood Sacrifice by Maria Lima, which is the fifth installment in her Blood Lines urban fantasy series.  The book is scheduled to be released on August 30, 2011.  This one is probably the best one in the series so far.  Most of the covers are subtle, but very nice.

Here is the cover art for Dark Taste of Rapture by Gena Showalter, which is the sixth book in her Alien Huntress series.  The book is scheduled to be released on August 23, 2011.  I really LOVE this cover.  It’s definitely the best one in the series.  I bought this series a few months ago based on a recommendation and enjoyed the first book.  I really need to get caught up on this series.

Synopsis (Product Description):

Beautiful Noelle Tremain has just completed AIR training and successfully navigated her first mission. Life is perfect. Until her best friend is turned into a vampire, destroying her day life, and she’s partnered with Hector Dean, destroying her nightlife. He’s the sexiest, most powerful man she’s ever met, able to atomize his arms and punch through anything – but he’s also emotionally distanced, determined to remain alone. Oh, the naughty things a girl will do for her job.

Just FYI, I found out that the cover for LET IT BLEED isn’t final and has at least one more tweak. According to Jeri, the tagline wasn’t changed from BRING ON THE NIGHT’s and is suppose to say: “They sold their souls to rock n roll”
