Dark Faerie Tales: Theo we are going to start with you so Cait do you mind leaving the room for a minute.
*Cait glances at Theo with a challenging smirk before walking off.*
DFT: I am planning on asking you a few questions and I want you to be as honest as possible. But I also want you to remember that this is a game, and you want your questions to match Cait’s if possible so keep that in mind when you are answering each question.
*Theo nods, sitting straighter in his chair, gazing intently with his mesmerizing green eyes as he listens.*
DFT: I know that you had a pretty instant connection with Cait but I am wondering how well you actually know her. Can you tell me what Cait’s favorite sweet is? Also what is your favorite sweet so we can see if Cait knows what it is?
Theo: Sweets? Cait does not favor sweets unless you consider sweet wines to be such. As for me, dragons are carnivores and do not each human foods since we prefer a fresh kill. *He breaks into a smile, revealing perfect white teeth, devastatingly sexy yet thrillingly dangerous.*
DFT: You are a dragon which makes you immortal so I know that you have experiences a lot in life and been with many different people. What is the one thing about Cait that makes her different from all the rest?
Theo: I am eternal, not immortal. There is a difference. Vampires are immortal. *His face is expressionless and tone rather offended but quickly moves on to answer the question in a more congenial way.* There are many things that make Cait different from ‘all the rest’ as you say. She is not as she appears on the surface. However, the way Cait stands up to me as my equal without hesitation or fear of consequence, knowing exactly who and what I am, is unparalleled. *Theo grins, eyes glittering in the light.* Cait is feisty.
DFT: I always love couples that strengthen and make each other better. What do you think is the best quality Cait brings out in you? What is the best thing you bring out in her?
Theo: *He takes a deep breath, appearing thoughtful before leaning slightly forward as he answers.* Through Cait, I have learned what I do purely out of love can be just as honorable and noble as those deeds born of a sense of duty and justice. Love is not a weakness. And Cait? *He pauses and shakes his head, laughing quietly.* Despite her vast self-confidence, I believe I have helped guide her to see the great leader and inspiration that is within her.
DFT: What was it like to kiss Cait for the very first time?
Theo: *Theo leans back again, a fiery heat in his eyes.* Intense. To say more regarding our personal affairs would be quite disrespectful.
DFT: If you could have Cait dress is anything you want, and I do mean ANYTHING, what would you choose and why?
Theo: *His jaw sets sternly, clearly not amused by the intent of this question.* I would have her dress as she likes when dancing. When Cait dances, she appears free of all earthly boundaries and expresses herself without reserve. She is both at her strongest and her most vulnerable. There is nothing more beautiful to witness.
DFT: If you were to give Cait free rein in the bedroom to do whatever she wanted what would she choose? What would you choose to do if you were given free rein?
Theo: *Theo’s glare is dark and immensely intimidating, yet there’s still something oh so sexy about his piercing green eyes, despite the lurking danger.* I will politely act as those you did not dare ask such impertinent questions of me and warn you to take this line of questioning no further. You clearly know not the honor of dragons to do so.
DFT: Ok Cait it is now your turn to come on out and answer all the same questions that we just asked Theo . Try to see if you can get the same answers and both of you will get to comment at the end on each other’s answers!
Cait: *Cait grins and laughs easily.* Sounds great!
DFT: I know that you had a pretty instant connection with Theo but I am wondering how well you actually know each other. Can you tell me what your favorite sweet is? What do you think is Theo’s favorite sweet?
Cait: *She laughs pretty hard, covering her mouth and taking a moment to compose herself before replying.* Well, unless dessert wines count, I don’t really have one, and I’m going out on a limb to say he probably gave some relatively gross answer about what dragons eat.
DFT: Theo is a dragon which makes him immortal so I know that he has experienced a lot in life and been with many different people. What do you think is the one thing about you that makes you different from all the rest?
Cait: *She raises her eyebrows and shakes her head.* You didn’t actually call him immortal did you? Damn. That… wow. Okay. Well, I don’t know. I think he finds it oddly charming that I get up in his face and tell him off if I don’t agree with him.
DFT: I always love couples that strengthen and make each other better. What do you think is the best quality Theo brings out in you? What is the best thing you bring out in him?
Cait: *Cait appears a bit perplexed and takes a few minutes to answer.* That’s a good question. I mean, he certainly manages to piss me off a lot, mostly on purpose, I think. But I’d say he’s opened me up to the idea I’m more than what I thought I was, though I’m still struggling with the whole idea. What I’ve brought out in him is pretty easy: love. He was completely hardheaded on the subject beforehand. Well, love and frustration. I know I frustrate him to no end.
DFT: What was it like to kiss Theo for the very first time?
Cait: *She grins and winks.* Epic, mind-blowing, intense, indescribable. Oh, and HOT. Definitely HOT. I’m guessing he was pretty tight-lipped about it though. That’s a dragon thing, honor, respect for women, and all that.
DFT: If Theo could have you dress in anything he wanted, and I do mean ANYTHING, what would he choose and why?
Cait:*Cait giggles.* I have absolutely no idea how he would answer this except to say that I’m definitely sure he did NOT reply with anything in the realm of something sexually provocative as the question alludes to.
DFT: If you were to given free rein in the bedroom to do whatever you wanted what would you choose? What would Theo choose to do if he were given free rein?
Cait: Oh, dear Goddess. *Cait leans back, face in her hands, laughing hysterically.* No, you did not. *She has tears in her eyes from laughing so hard, and she’s breathless.* You seriously asked him that? And he didn’t just storm off furiously? *She chokes back more laughter.* Well, I KNOW he did NOT answer that at all. I’m sure it completely offended him, actually. *She calms down, wipes her face, and catches her breath.* Dragons have an honor code that’s difficult to understand and a deep respect for women that goes beyond medieval chivalry or anything. They aren’t human. They’re older than you can imagine. The way they value women isn’t ‘old-fashioned’ really, it’s on the level of reverential adoration. Do you get it?
DFT: Theo you now get to tell us what you thought of Cait’s answers!
Theo: *He’s still obviously rather furious from his early questioning and quite closed off.* She answered much as I expected. Cait has still not completely adapted to dragon eating habits and continues to make commentary regarding her distaste for anything any of us say on the subject.
And hardheaded? I do not think I am the only one who could be described as ‘hardheaded’ as she wishes to say, which could be why she believes I find myself frustrated so frequently.
As for the questions I found distasteful, Cait explained the reason for my offense quite clearly, and I have nothing more to say on the subject.
DFT: Cait how do you think Theo did? Were his answers accurate?
Cait: *Cait’s eyes are on Theo rather than you, her expression soft.* Yeah. I think he did great. I like that he says I taught him love is not a weakness. And I didn’t know he felt that way about me dancing. That’s incredibly sweet, very romantic to know he thinks of me that way when I’m doing something that has always meant so much to me.
Theo: *Theo wraps an arm around her, pulling her closer, his voice low as he speaks to Cait.* Dancing is beautiful, as are you, but you dancing is so divinely beautiful, the stars in the night sky cannot compare.
Cait: *Grinning, Cait turns and gives you a wink.* See? Respectful, adoring, romantic… Every woman should be so lucky as to have a dragon boyfriend.

About this Book:
A dragon’s fire cannot be tamed.
In 22nd century sovereign America, women should be seen and not heard. Unfortunately, twenty-one-year-old CAITRIONA HAYDEN didn’t get that memo!
Determined to make her way in the world following the death of her uncle, being “seen” is the least of Cait’s problems.
Someone’s trying to kill her.
Ordained to guard and protect her, when Theo Pendragon claims Cait as his ward, he finds more than he expects as the flames of passion ignite within the dragon for the first time. But Theo is not alone in his desire, and he must learn to fight for what he wants, even if it costs him his best friend.
Dante, a powerful demigod and beloved friend to Theo, has spent centuries pursuing intellectual endeavors rather than indulging in the heat of desire. But everything changes when Cait arouses an attraction he cannot deny.
But Dante isn’t the only one with a vested interest in Cait’s future.
America’s monarch, an ancient vampire named Corrin, puts no stock in the frivolity of love, and yet a proper queen would boost his approval rating amongst the people. Marrying Cait could hold the key to his survival.
Now, love, desire and need force Cait into an impossible situation with dire consequences.
Soon, Cait goes from studying for college exams to fighting for a future she never knew she wanted with a man she never imagined she could love. But the key to her future is held in the one secret she has yet to uncover.
