I’m really excited to be hosting my second reading challenge.  I hope you guys will participate.  Here are the general rules:

Timeline: January 2010 to December 2010

Goal: To read 10 debut paranormal romance novels in 2010

  • The reading challenge is open to everyone.
  • You don’t need a blog to participate.
  • If you don’t have a blog – you can leave a comment with your book selection in this post.
  • If you don’t have a blog and would like to write a review – you are welcome to do a guest review on my blog.
  • You can join at anytime to participate in this challenge.
  • If you are going to participate in this challenge, please post about it on your blog and add a link back to this post.
  • You can grab the challenge button on my sidebar to use on your blog.
  • eBooks, Audio, and already read all count.
  • The 2010 Debut Selection List will be continuously updated.
  • Please sign-up using Mr. Linky – be sure to use the direct link to your post so that people will be able to find this challenge.

    Only books published in 2010 count, correct? Or is it any debut novel?

    Yep, only debut books published in 2010 count towards the challenge.

    Just curious about your criteria for selecting these titles. I did a quick check and 5 of them are not by debut authors.

    Make that 7. Only 4 appear to be true debut novels by new authors. So I’m guessing this list includes previously published authors breaking into the paranormal genre?

    The list is compiled of the following: either a debut author or a debut series and/or genre from an already published author.

    Got ya. I’m doing my own little challenge myself, evaluating debut paranromals by new authors to see what was special enough about the book to make that first sale. I was able to add 4 more to my list from yours that I wasn’t aware of. Thanks. I’ll be checking back regularly to see if you’ve added any more. Here’s some from my list that you don’t have:

    Lori – thanks for the list. I’ll get these added to the list. Actually, I have Shadow Bound classified as urban fantasy, so it’s listed on my other reading challenge. I’m working on updating the list again by the weekend.
