Antonio de la Cruz is the next hottie in the Fifty Shades of YA Boys event. Antonio is the noble vampire hottie from the Crusade Trilogy written by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguié. Vanquished, the last novel of the trilogy, will be released on August 28, 2012. Nancy managed to stop Antonio in the middle of a busy day on the hunt to get him to answer some questions for us.
Thanks to the folks at MTV Books for giving away a copy of Nancy Holder’s newest release, On Fire, which went on sale on Tuesday. Scott McCall is a sweet, sexy werewolf hottie! If you don’t believe me, check out MTV’s show Teen Wolf.

My name is Antonio de la Cruz, and I am a vampire who was attacked in 1941, when I was giving Last Rites to a fellow freedom fighter during World War II. I was studying to become a Catholic priest, and I believe that my devotion to my faith and my church has sustained me. But it my love for Jennifer Leitner that reminds me that angels walk among us, and her love for me reminds me that this is still the age of miracles.
I fight constantly to be a good man, a fighter against my own brothers, the vampires who have declared war on humanity. I am a Spaniard, passionate and hot-tempered, and the temptation to drink human blood has never left me. When Jenn puts her arms around her, my first thought is often that I want, more than anything, to empty her until she dies. When I succumbed, and reverted, I wanted God to strike me dead. He left me alive to atone for my sins, and to serve as an example of His mercy. And to protect Jenn, always, as we fight to end the scourge of vampiric world domination.
Fill in the blank:
NOBODY KNOWS I AM: Occasionally afraid of God, whom I have vowed to love and serve, even unto eternity.
I WISH I COULD STOP: being a vampire, and become Jenn Leitner’s lover.
I’M A SUCKER FOR: good Spanish wine.
A GOOD TIME FOR ME IS: When I know that Jenn is safe.
NOBODY WOULD BELIEVE ME IF THEY SAW ME: Wearing the face of my vampire self, kneeling in the chapel at the University of Salamanca.
I’D REALLY RATHER: Remain a vampire if that is the will of God.
THE FIRST THING I DO IN THE MORNING IS: Think of Jenn, and then I pray for her.
KILL / FRAK / MARRY:
2. Olivia Wilde
3. Charlize Theron
As I follow the precepts of my Holy Orders, and Jenn Leitner owns my heart, I would pray for good things for these young women, and wilingly give my life to protect them, even from myself.

About this Book:
Based on the hit MTV series Teen Wolf—a teenage boy’s life changes forever after he’s bitten by a werewolf.
Scott was just a regular guy until one bite changed his life. Now he struggles to understand who he is and what he might become. Is he more wolf than human—or is it the other way around? Whichever it is, it’s not going to be easy. Scott tries to control his urges, but mostly he’s scared that it’s his urges that could end up controlling him. On Fire is the story of what happens when you to walk the line between what you want and what you can’t help from wanting. Will the bite end up being a gift? Or will it be a curse? And what will it all mean for Scott’s relationship with Allison—the girl he can’t get enough of? Only time will tell if he should embrace his newfound powers, or if he should fear them.
