Giveaway: Nightshade by Andrea Cremer

Nightshade is the first book in Andrea Cremer’s seductive Nightshade series.  Not only is the cover stunning, but so is her prose.  This series is to die for.  I have one autographed copy of Nightshade for one lucky commenter.  As always, details are at the end of the post.

Synopsis (Product Description):

Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she’ll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters’ laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything–including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

+1Would you be able to sacrifice your pack for the love of another? If you exchange ‘pack’ for ‘family’, I would have to say no. I am only one person, how could I betray everyone I claim to love just to make myself happy.

+1 It depends on the circumstances of course but if my pack loved me and if the person I truly loved me then I don’t think they would make me choose.

I guess it would depend on just how much I loved that other person since a pack is family.

Answer +1: I would guess that a pack would be like a family and the way I feel about my family, I cannot imagine giving up my family for anyone. I have such a strong connection with them that I do everything to protect them. That love would have to become my new family to eclipse that.

+1 I don’t think I would be able to sacrifice my entire pack because I know that they depend on me. To turn my back on them would mean that I was never a good alpha in the first place. Of course, I’m sure the circumstances which I’m in will affect my ultimate decision.

I personally think if your pack loves you they would be there for you regardless so taking that risk may be worth it. In the end if it is meant to be you would have your love and your pack together. Thanks for the great giveaway :)

+1 Honestly, I don’t know. For some reason, I don’t think I could. What kind of message would it send to the one that I wanted to leave with? It seems to me that the person I would be leaving for should consider the question…how could you trust me if I did? It would call into question my loyalty and love making both questionable.
