Giveaway: Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

A special thanks goes to the amazing team over at Big Honcho Media for hosting this giveaway. Haven’t read Shiver yet?  Want to know what all the buzz is about?  Well, here’s your chance.  Catch up with a copy of Shiver before you read Linger!  One lucky commenter will have a chance to win a copy of Shiver.  Giveaway details are listed below.  Linger, is the sequel to Shiver, and is scheduled to be released on July 20, 2010.  You can read an excerpt from Shiver here.

Synopsis (Product Description):

For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf—her wolf—is a chilling presence she can’t seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human… until the cold makes him shift back again.

Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It’s her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human—or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

Synopsis (Product Description):

This is the story of a boy who used to be a wolf and a girl who was becoming one.

Just a few months ago, it was Sam who was the mythical creature. His was the disease we couldn’t cure. His was the good-bye that meant the most. He had the body that was a mystery, too strange and wonderful and terrifying to comprehend.

But now it is spring. With the heat, the remaining wolves will soon be falling out of their wolf pelts and back into their human bodies. Sam stays Sam, and Cole stays Cole, and it’s only me who’s not firmly in my own skin.

That is so tough to answer. It really depends. Am I really really in love with him? Is there no other way for him to turn back into a human? I don’t know, so many factors! I love so many people in my life (family and friends) so it would be hard to say goodbye to them and to MY life. I might be willing, I might now. *shrug*

+1- For my significant other I would do it. Just like Bella with Edward in becoming a vampire. There’s no thought process to it. If you know you are meant to be with them forever, then you do what you have to do to stay with them always. Plus being supernatural would be fairly awesome!

Yes, of course! As the saying goes, love is blind.

I would. If I loved him enough, I’d surely become a wolf to be with him.
