Today is the final day of my blog birthday celebration. My guest is Natasha from Wicked Little Pixie. I discovered Natasha’s blog early on and instantly liked her voice. Natasha’s personality definitely shines though her blog. I love her sense of humor and willingness to take a stand, and tackle tough issues. Stop me if you’ve heard this one: Mark Henry is the biggest time suck I know. You see, Mark always sends me the best YouTube videos, ones that usually have be going “WTF” or I pee myself. I readily admit that Make makes me pee myself. When Angela asked me to guest post, I asked my partner in crime Pam to help me. We had no idea what to talk about, until Pam suggested a name
Antoine Dodson.
If you haven’t heard of him before, let me take the time to explain.
Antoine’s sister, Kelly, was in her bedroom & a man came in, he was trying to rape her. Yeah, totally not funny at all. They fought & Antoine came in, scared the hell out of the guy & he left. He still hasn’t been found, but he’s given the Dodson Family a whole lot of publicity.

Tell me Antoine is not unintentionally the funniest thing out there! Hide your wife, hide your kids?! When Mark sent the link, I cried. I told Mark, Antoine needs his own show CSI Antoine Edition! As I was typing this, I asked him why he loved Antoine (because seriously, not a week goes by without an Antoine reference now!)
SPAZ/PAM: “…and hide you husband cuz they rapin erybody out here. You are so dumb. You are really dumb. For Real.” Every single line that came out of his mouth in this interview was PURE GOLD! I could not stop watching the video over and over again, he was the most amazing thing I’ve seen on TV in a long time. Even writing up this post, I cannot see his name and not want to go watch his video again. And when I’m asked a question, sometimes I hear his “WEEEELLLLLL” in my head before I give an answer. I love love love him! One of the best things to come from 2010.
Mark said: It’s not hard to find a reason to love Antoine Dodson. He’s a devoted family man, appropriately outraged at our epidemic of crime and funny as f**k! Like a true American, he’s taken his accidental notoriety and pimped it out like the dirty whore it is…and I love him for it. Go Antoine!

Is that not brilliant? Okay, we may class brilliant differently, but it kills me & yes I know the lyrics.
SPAZ/PAM: Brilliant! As you say yourself, WLP – “I die!” I’ve put off buying the song but I think I might have to. It just makes me giggle! And then when he came out and performed the song on BET and people in the crowd are singing along? Antoine is a true enigma, how can you not watch him and SMILE?! If you don’t listen to this and not smile YOU ARE DEAD!
As a side note, I am so disappointed and saddened that they have not found the suspect, especially since he left his SHIRT and his FINGERPRINTS at the crime scene … but sadly not surprised. Here’s to hoping they catch the suspect and I wish Antoine and his family nothing but goodness in their future. And thanks Antoine for giving us something smile about even after a horrible crime was committed.
