DFT: What did you think when you first laid eyes on your mate?
Gage: I wanted to be suspicious of her. She was an outsider, after all. But all I could think of was how pretty she was. She was nervous, but full of fire too.
DFT: Describe your mate in three words.
Gage: Powerful. Beautiful. Forever.
DFT: What would you do if you caught someone hitting on your mate?
Gage: She’s irresistible so it happens from time to time. She only has eyes for me, which usually means I don’t need to punch anyone.
DFT: Describe how your mate smells to you.
Gage: Lavender and roses. But when she’s turned on? There’s a little pepper thrown in.
DFT: What is your idea of a romantic date?
Gage: Any block of a few hours when people aren’t trying to kill her is a good start. Add alone and no clothes and that’s really perfect.
DFT: What was the first thing that attracted you about your mate?
Gage: She’s beautiful, yes, but she stood up to one of the strongest witches I know. It was the fire in her eyes and the steel in her spine that snagged my attention.
DFT: Apart from the obvious, which three parts of your mate’s body are your personal favorites and why?
Gage: She’s got great hair. It’s soft and smells really good and she has all these pretty pins and fasteners to put it up. Her eyes are beautiful and when she’s dealing with people she doesn’t like you can’t always tell by her facial expression, but her eyes, man, she narrows her gaze just a little, like an annoyed school teacher, it’s really hot. And her ass. I know you said not the obvious, but man, she’s got a great butt.
DFT: Name the most annoying thing your mate does?
Gage: Molly has a horrible habit of putting herself in danger over and over. I wish she’d stay safe inside all the time, but her job has her out and about, exposed to people who want to hurt her.
DFT: What is the best decision you have ever made?
Gage: Loving Molly.
DFT: Between the sheets or on top?
Gage: Wherever I can get her, as often as I can.
DFT: My mate tastes like _____.
Gage: magick
DFT: My mate’s sexiest article of clothing is _______.
Gage: I love it when she’s all dressed up in a suit because I know she’s all mine underneath.
DFT: What song would you put on to get your mate in the mood?
Gage: Here’s something I never would have suspected, but Molly has a thing for seventies rock and roll. So I’d put on some Led Zeppelin, The Rain Song.
DFT: Would your mate rather have chocolates or flowers for Valentine’s Day?
Gage: She’s a sensual woman so she loves orange dark chocolate, or Turkish delight with rosewater.
