On the ninth day after Christmas my true love gave to me…

…nine hackers decoding.

Hacking is an art. Often used for bad, but occasionally used for good. Companies hire hackers to test their security and make it better. But sometimes hackers such as WikiLeaks present to the public what should not be shown.

There is a group that uses their hacking skills against corrupt companies and groups around the world. They may brick a company’s system that works in medicine but also deals drugs. They may empty a bank account of a man that cons people. Or they may take revenge on a teenager that abuses animals and posted the video online. These people are anonymous and help when they can. No one knows who the people are behind their usernames, not even the leader. But when a company starts kidnapping homeless kids off the street and uses them as test subjects for drugs against a spread disease, these hacktivists join together to brick the company’s computer system. They are successful but at a price. Their online group /ALLIANCE/ is wiped from the ethernet, causing much confusion and upheaval in the online world.

This is just the beginning. This is just fuel for the fire. The company wants a cyber war? They’re going to get it.

This is a dangerously close to the cuff subject for all those involved in the ‘victim” side of hacktivism. Its going to be a good read.
