Synopsis:

Being the younger sister of a Wind Dragons MC member isn’t as great as you’d think it would be.

I can’t escape the details of my brother’s exploits.
No one tells me anything.
Men who know who I am tend to stay away from me.

And worst of all:
The members of the MC are off-limits.

When Arrow catches my eye, I make it my mission to make him happy again.

When I fall head over heels in love with him, I just hope he will be there to catch me.
And that my brother doesn’t kill him.

Quick & DirtyOne off limits sister of a fellow brother, and one bad-ass member of the MC….

Opening Sentence: “I stare down into my Scotch, twirling the amber liquid around the glass.”

The Review:

Anna is the younger sister of Rake, and she has moved out to be near him while finishing college. Rake is trying to ease her into MC life, and she is fighting a crush on Arrow. Arrow is a man haunted by the mistakes of his past. He is completely unwilling to be in another relationship. That is until Anna catches his eye, and then the tortured biker is in for the fight of his life. Arrow is out of prison and trying to come to terms with the murder of his old lady and the murder he committed in retaliation.

When Anna is kidnapped by a rival MC, will Arrow be able to save her? Will they be able to overcome the sins of his past? Most of all will Arrow be able to let go of Mary and fully move on, and can he the kind of man Anna needs him to be!

This is the second book in the Wind Dragon MC series, and I have read the first one. Although you don’t actually need to read the series in order to know what it is going on. I still really like this series and will continue to read the other books. I really enjoyed Anna, and thought she was a pretty great main character, I did have some issues with Arrow. Honestly, he was a hot jerk, but considering this is a MC book and he had committed murder, I shouldn’t have been shocked by that. Okay, I wasn’t shocked, I have just come to realize that I am not a fan of bad boys going good, because all to often they are the kind of guys that you want to yell at the girl to run, not walk away. So I kind of consider these my guilty pleasures, left over from my Son of Anarchy obsession.

That being said, this is a solid series, and whether it’s your guilty pleasure or you have no shame, you will enjoy this addition to the series. The guys are hot, the girls are pretty bad ass, and there is mystery and drama all around. Plus, you get a pretty big hint as to who the next book is going to center around and the introduction of his love interest. Although I am only guessing at this point, since I didn’t look at the synopsis for the next book. Also, some really interesting family dynamics creep up in Arrow’s Hell, so I am intrigued to see if this comes up in later books and how it all plays out.

Notable Scenes:

“He’s afraid she won’t want anything to do with us, him or this lifestyle.”

“The man hardly smiles, so I find myself being more playful around him than I am around anyone else, just to get a reaction out of him.”

“I need to remind myself that Arrow is and never will be the man for me.”

“This needs to be out in the open no matter what the outcome.”

“I read somewhere the worst mistake a woman can make is to fall in the love with a man’s potential.”

“He does something then that makes me want to rip his clothes off and lick him inch by delicious inch.”
