With the help of Random.org the winner is:
- For me, the book has to have a great plot. One that scares the crap out of you. My favorite horror book from this past year was The Last Surgeon by Michael Palmer. Not a book that I expected to be scared while reading, but I was. I also loved Afraid by Jack Kilborn.
2. Jessi Elliott
- I absolutely love it when a horror book makes my scalp start to tingle and my eyes to water. I don’t read it much, so I don’t really have a favorite. But when I take that chance, that’s what I love.
3. Andrea Burdette
- I actually haven’t read a lot of horror. I think the only books shelved in horror that I’ve read are Laurell K Hamilton and Kim Harrison. I don’t really consider them horror, but Kim Harrison’s The Hollows is one of my favorite series. The best horror books are the ones that are really scary. You know… when you jump because of a noise because you’re so tense when reading it.
I will contact the winners. Hope you enjoy the book.
