I write erotic romance for Samhain and Ellora’s Cave, mostly contemporary but also some naughty Regency. I’ve lived in Alaska for the past four years, but before that I was a Los Angeles girl all the way, so I’m looking forward to going back. I just got married (New Year’s Eve) and live in a cabin in the snow with my wonderful new husband and his 6-year-old stepdaughter. You can find out more about my books here.
Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
My latest release, “Go Wild,” is the first book I’ve set in Alaska. Wild is a fictional town (sorry to say) that holds a winter festival every year called “Wild Nights.” Its purpose is to help people let off steam during the long Alaskan winter (and believe me, they are loooong!) Its only rule is, “Anything goes, nothing counts.” So people go a little wild.
Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
This will be my first RT. My advice for those going for the first time is come find me and we’ll go have a drink!
Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to? What panels are you planning on attending?
I’m really looking forward to the Dean Koontz session. He had a very strong influence on me early on, even though I now write in a completely different genre. He inspired me to write moody thrillers that I’ve never shown to anyone and never will. But he got me writing, and that was the important thing.
If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
Someone slightly terrified, a bit overwhelmed, and extremely grateful to anyone with a kind smile for a newbie! I’ll be hanging out with the Nine Naughty Novelists at Club RT and I’ll be signing at the eBook Expo. I would love to meet you!
